Powerballs

Now these come in all sorts of variations and it comes down to individual taste. Here are some inspirations, but feel free to throw in anything you like :)
It's easiest if you have a food processor for these, however you can also chop and crush yourself.

  • 1 cup whole raw almonds
  • 8 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup dried sweetened cherries
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup pecons
  • sea salt to taste

You do:
  • process almonds in food processor until finely chopped
  • remove 1/3 cup of processed almonds for later
  • add dates and process
  • add cherries and process again
  • add chocolate chips and pecans and process until chopped
  • add salt to taste
  • add 1/3 cup of process almonds and roll into balls
  • place in fridge or freezer

Date Energy Balls

You need:
  • 2 cups walnuts, or other nut/seed of choice
  • 1 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 2 cups soft pitted Medjool dates
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

You do:
  • add everything in food processor and blend until fine
  • form balls and place in fridge or freezer

Raw Chocolate Fudge

  • form balls and place in fridge or freezer

Blueberry Muffins

You need:
  • 3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 6 tbsp natural cane suger (or coconut sugar)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extra
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 cups light spelt flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (keep in freezer until you're mixing them with the other ingredients)

You do:
  • Preheat oven to 180° C
  • mash bananas, add milk, vinegar, maple syrup, vanilla, coconut oil
  • mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda in a separate bowl
  • add wet ingredients to dry mix and stir
  • add walnuts and blueberries
  • bake for 25-30 mins

Hot Chocolate

With this one you can go crazy with your creativity - have almond milk, coconut milk or any other milk you fancy and add raw cacao, cinnamon, something to sweeten like maple syrup or raw honey. You can even add a bit of cayenne pepper for the twist.
Or try with maca or lucuma powder and also add some turmeric all of which are super healthy.

My favourite one is: Almond milk, raw cacao, lucuma powder, turmeric, coconut manna and raw honey

Chai Tea

You need:
  • 2 ¼ cups water
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cracked cardamon pods
  • 4-5 black tea bags (or loose black tea)
  • 2 cups of any milk you like (try coconut)
  • sweeten with raw honey or stevia to taste

You do:
  • Bring water, tea, star anise, cinnamon, and cardamom to boil
  • boil for 3-5 minutes and strain
  • add sugar and milk and stir until hot
